Surgical Headlight Parts Replacement

When searching for the replacement of surgical headlight, you will see a variety of different parts that can be purchased.surgical headlight parts However, not all of these parts are made to fit the specific headlight you have. There are headlight bulb parts such as lampshades and lens mount assemblies that may vary from one headlight to another. To ensure that you have the right headlight bulb parts, it is necessary to have your headlight checked by an authorized automotive dealer so you can have an idea of the exact make and model of your car. This way, they will be able to give you the best advice regarding the proper replacement of your current headlight.

The first step in replacing your existing headlight bulb is to disconnect the battery from your vehicle.surgical headlight parts surgical headlight parts Once the battery has been disconnected, it is also important to unplug any other wires or cables. Then, it is important to locate the headlight switch. You may need to search under the dash or in the console for this switch. Once you have located the switch, turn it counterclockwise until you are able to see the small opening in the cover where the switch is located.

Once you have located the switch, you will then need to remove the existing bulb in the headlight. However, if your new bulb is different from the one that was removed, you may need to replace the entire bulb harness, including the connectors. Once you have replaced the bulb with the correct bulb, it is then time to install the bulb harness. Surgical headlight bulb harnesses usually include a bulb hood that is used to cover the bulb in order to protect it from the elements. However, this hood may not be thick enough to cover the bulb if there is a large gap between the front of the hood and the backside of the bulb. If so, you will need to cut out a small section of the hood.

Once you have cut the appropriate section of the bulb harness, pull it tight and fasten it to the light bulb. Before tightening the bulb harness to the headlight, place a small amount of adhesive behind the screws on the headlight housing. Once this is done, tighten the bulb harness to the headlights. Be sure to tighten all of the screws tightly - you do not want to break any of the bulb parts.

Finally, connect the terminals to the light switch. If the lights still do not work, you need to check the connections on the light switch itself. Sometimes a light switch will get loose over time and will need to be replaced. Other times, the wires may become disconnected with the wires coming off of the replacement bulb.

When you have completed the replacement of the headlight bulbs, you should carefully reattach all of the wires to the light switch. You may need to use some pliers to do this. Reattach the wires and then attach the new bulb to the headlight. Replace the cover and put in back on your headlight.
